Sustainability in Practice

As a specialist in industrial residues, sustainability is at the centre of our business activities. Our mission is to conserve resources and reduce emissions – through intelligent circular economy that turns residues into valuable raw materials.

Together with our partners and customers, we continuously develop substitution solutions that replace the use of primary raw materials and thereby avoid energy-intensive raw material extraction. Our years of experience in material stream management enable us to find new uses even for hazardous and non-hazardous waste – instead of costly disposal, high-quality secondary raw materials are created.

A particularly impressive example of our sustainable approach is the production of a diesel-like fuel from residues. Through the processing and distillation of these materials, a high-quality fuel is created that replaces mineral diesel in truck fleets. In 2024 alone, through the production of 9.5 million litres of this waste-based fuel, we were able to demonstrably save over 26,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents – a quantifiable contribution to climate protection that is certified through the GHG quota.

Our environmentally friendly offerings span various fields of activity: from biofuels and alternative energy sources to sustainable fertilisers and animal feed. Each of these business areas contributes to conserving natural resources and reducing emissions.

Our sustainable business activities are certified to European standards (RED III) and subject to continuous quality controls. This certification guarantees that our processes meet the highest standards for sustainability and environmental protection.
