Biogas Substrates from By-products

The processing of residues at our facility in Bokel regularly generates by-product streams and material mixtures that, due to their specific properties, cannot be directly assigned to conventional recovery routes. Nevertheless, many of these materials have a high potential for alternative applications, which we actively exploit.

Material streams from the food and feed sectors are marketed by us as inputs for biogas plants. These substrates contain valuable nutrients for microorganisms and make an important contribution to sustainable energy generation.

Glycerol-Based Nutrient Solutions for Sewage Treatment Plants
Another example is crude glycerol, which is also produced during biodiesel production. We market glycerol-containing material mixtures that are used as a nutrient source for microorganisms in sewage treatment plants as part of the microbial water treatment process. This business area is an established component of our extended range of services.

Emergency Management and Chemical Recovery
We also have sound experience in handling emergency situations and in the utilisation of used chemicals. In such special cases, we support our customers with tailored solutions and professional expertise.
