Our administrative headquarters in Hetendorf embodies the sustainability philosophy that shapes all of BaeckTrade's activities. We do not merely live environmental awareness through our business models – we consistently implement it at our office location.

The entire heating capacity of our company building is provided by the waste heat from the local biogas plant – a perfect example of regional circular economy that conserves resources and minimises CO₂ emissions. This innovative solution not only reduces our ecological footprint but also strengthens local energy structures.

On the roof of our characterful office building, a high-performance solar installation generates environmentally friendly electricity, covering a significant portion of our energy needs. In this way, we harness the natural power of the sun for our daily operations.

We are particularly proud of our innovative cooling system: while conventional air conditioning units often operate in an energy-intensive manner, we rely on geothermal probes for the ecological cooling of the office building during the summer months. This technology uses the natural coolness of the ground and ensures a pleasant working environment with minimal energy consumption.
