About BaeckTrade
BaeckTrade GmbH was founded in early 2006 by Dr. Jan Bäckermann and specialises in the marketing of industrial by-products and secondary raw materials. Based in the Lüneburg Heath, our team of more than 25 people supports production companies in optimising their material flow management, develops new target applications and improves existing marketing strategies.
What began as a pure trading company expanded in 2013 with our own production facility in Bokel, where high-quality secondary raw materials are processed for various industries. The commercial management of the plant is handled centrally from our headquarters in Hetendorf.
In 2014, BaeckTrade Fuels was founded for the marketing of synthetic fuels. In early 2020, the subsidiary BaeckTrade Biokraftstoff GmbH was established, focusing on sustainable biogenic fuels.
